I think that there is a philosophy for movies that everyone should adhere to. You must begin any movie day with a crappy movie. For example, I was dragged to New Moon today. I know, I know. Open mouth and insert gun. BUT, the day was not lost.

I was able to make gay vampire jokes the entire time, so that was fun (relatively). Afterward, My girlfriend, who dragged me to said atrocity (we ceremoniously tore our tickets afterwards) then came over and we watched Fool's Gold. So I like funny chick-flicks to an extent, sue me. As I said, all hope was not lost. Afterwards, there was a bit of The Office, which was funny despite the fact that I never could get into it that much.

Here comes the clincher though. My parents watched The Godfather Part I afterwards during dinner. We were only 2 hours into it when my girlfriend had to leave, though. So that kinda bombed. But now, I will be quoting our good Italian friends quite frequently, and speaking like the great Don Vito.

"Leave the gun, bring the canolies."
